Chris Titus shares an excellent video tutorial on setting up a Windows VM on Linux using QEMU/KVM and Virtmanager. It is really brilliant.
My main desktop in my home office is running Debian Bookworm and I have my Windows install in a VM that performs about as good as it did on the bare metal.
